Scope
This policy covers every page on Zombie Games Hub: game pages, category pages, guides and informational pages. It was last reviewed on 3 September 2026.
How content is created
- Games first. A game page is written only after the game is finished and tuned. The person writing it is the person who tuned it.
- Guides from practice. Strategy guides describe techniques we have tested in our own games. Where a claim is a general principle rather than a tested result, it is described that way.
- No templated filler. Every game page and guide is written individually. We do not generate pages by substituting a game name into a template, and the build fails if two pages share a title or meta description.
- Minimum substance. Our build enforces content floors — a guide below its word floor, or a game page missing tips or FAQs, will not publish.
Review before publication
Every page is checked against a short list before it goes live:
- Are all mechanical claims accurate against the current build?
- Is every internal link valid and does every game link point at a playable game?
- Does the page have a unique title, description and single H1?
- Is any claim made that we cannot support? If so, it is removed or hedged.
- Does anything read as padding? If a section exists only for length, it is cut.
The build itself enforces the mechanical half of this: duplicate metadata, broken internal links, missing required fields and thin content all fail the build rather than shipping.
Updates and dating
Every page carries a published date and a last-updated date, both visible and both in the page's structured data. Those dates are accurate — we do not refresh an update date without changing the content.
- Game balance changes trigger an update to that game's page and to any guide whose advice depended on the old numbers.
- Guides are reviewed when a game they reference changes.
- Substantive rewrites update the date; typo fixes do not.
Corrections
If something is wrong, we fix it and say so.
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed.
- Material corrections — anything that changes the advice — are noted on the page with the date.
- Minor fixes (typos, broken links, formatting) are made silently.
- Reports are welcome at editor@zombiegameshub.xyz and get priority over new content.
What we will not publish
- Fabricated statistics of any kind — player counts, download numbers, popularity figures.
- Fake reviews, ratings, testimonials or user comments.
- Invented author credentials, employers, awards or affiliations.
- Citations to sources we have not read, or invented references.
- Content produced only to carry advertising.
- Copies of other people's games, artwork, text or trademarks.
- Excessively graphic content. The zombie theme here is stylised and deliberately mild.
Advertising and editorial separation
Advertising placement has no influence on editorial decisions. No content is sponsored, there are no affiliate links, and no game is featured because of a commercial arrangement.
Advertising containers on this site are labelled, kept clear of game controls, and never styled to resemble content or gameplay elements. If advertising is ever served in a way that conflicts with this policy, the policy wins and the placement changes.
