Entertainment and information only

The games on this site exist to be enjoyable. The guides exist to help you play them better. Neither is professional advice of any kind.

Nothing on Zombie Games Hub should be treated as medical, psychological, health, educational or professional guidance. Where our articles touch on general topics such as reaction time or fatigue, they are describing widely known approximations in the context of playing arcade games — not making claims about your health.

About our strategy advice

Guides describe techniques that work in our games, based on how those games are built and on our own playtesting.

  • Results vary. Advice that reliably helps most players will not help everyone equally.
  • Our observations are ours. Where we say something happens frequently, we mean in our own testing, and we say so.
  • Games change. Balance updates can make specific advice outdated. Pages carry update dates for exactly this reason.
  • Techniques may not transfer. Advice tuned to our games will not necessarily apply to games we did not build.

Device performance

Browser games depend on your device, browser and settings. We build to run smoothly on modest hardware, but we cannot guarantee identical performance everywhere.

If a game runs poorly, our performance guide covers the common causes. Persistent problems are worth reporting via the contact page.

Saved progress

Favourites, history and best scores are stored in your browser and nowhere else. They can be lost by clearing site data, switching browsers or using private browsing, and we cannot restore them.

Screen time and breaks

Arcade games are designed to be compelling — that is what a good loop does. We say so openly in our guide on why wave games are addictive, and we deliberately avoid the mechanics that push sessions longer: no daily streaks, no timers that punish leaving, no notifications.

Take breaks. Our own performance data across playtesting is unambiguous that scores decline after about thirty minutes of continuous play, so stopping is usually also the better strategy.

Content accuracy

We check mechanical claims against our own source code and correct errors promptly — see the fact-checking policy. Even so, errors are possible, particularly after a balance update.

If something here is wrong, please tell us at editor@zombiegameshub.xyz. Corrections take priority over new content.

Frequently asked questions

Are your games safe for children?
The whole site avoids gore and disturbing imagery deliberately. The casual category is the mildest. As always, parents are best placed to judge what suits their own children.
Will your guides definitely improve my scores?
They describe what works in our games based on how we built and tested them. Most players improve by applying them, but we cannot promise a result.
Why might advice be out of date?
Because a game was rebalanced. Pages show an update date, and we revise guides when the tuning they depend on changes.
