What gets recorded
When you press Start on a game, three things are written to this browser's local storage: the game's identifier, the current timestamp, and a counter of how many times you have played it. The list is capped at forty entries so it stays small.
That same data powers the "most played on this device" section of the popular games page. It is never sent anywhere, and clearing it here removes it permanently. Your favourites and best scores are stored separately and are not affected.
