Who we are
Zombie Games Hub publishes original browser games and gameplay guides at zombiegameshub.xyz. For any privacy question, contact hello@zombiegameshub.xyz.
What we collect
Nothing, directly. This site is a set of static files. There is no application server, no database and no account system, so there is no mechanism by which we could collect personal information from you even if we wanted to.
- No accounts. There is no registration and no login.
- No forms that submit. The contact form validates in your browser and cannot send anything — see the contact page, which says so plainly.
- No analytics in the current build. No measurement script of any kind is installed.
- No advertising scripts in the current build. Advertising containers on the site are empty placeholders.
- No third-party scripts at all. Every script and stylesheet is served from this domain.
What your browser stores
The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember a small amount of information on your device. This never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
| Key | Contents | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| zgh:favorites | A list of game identifiers | Your favourites list |
| zgh:recent | Game identifiers, timestamps, play counts | Recently played and local popularity |
| zgh:bests | Best score, wave, time or distance per game | Your personal bests |
| zgh:prefs | Sound on or off | Remembering your mute setting |
None of this identifies you. You can delete all of it at any time by clearing site data in your browser, or with the clear-data button on the cookie and storage policy page.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. localStorage is a different mechanism from cookies and is not transmitted with requests.
If advertising is added in future, ad providers may set cookies. That would be a material change and this policy would be updated before it happened. See the section below.
Server logs
The site is served by a static hosting provider. Like essentially all web hosts, that provider will record standard request information — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and operational purposes. We do not use those logs for analytics or profiling, and we do not combine them with anything else.
If advertising or analytics are added
The site is designed to carry display advertising, and analytics may be added. Neither is present today. If either changes:
- This policy is updated first, with a new last-updated date and a description of what the provider collects.
- Third-party advertising cookies may be used to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookie practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Consent will be requested where required by law in your region before any non-essential cookie is set.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads and via optout.aboutads.info.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children — and since we collect nothing from anyone, there is nothing held about a child either.
The games themselves are deliberately non-graphic, with no gore and no disturbing imagery.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, most data-subject rights have nothing to act on. You can, at any time and without asking us:
- See exactly what is stored — open your browser's developer tools and inspect localStorage for this site.
- Delete all of it — clear site data, or use the button on the cookie and storage policy page.
- Prevent it being stored at all — block site data for this domain. The games still work; favourites and best scores simply will not persist.
If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, contact hello@zombiegameshub.xyz.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date at the top of this page. If advertising or analytics are introduced, this policy will be updated before they go live rather than afterwards.
